At one side of the coin, there are students in high school who are struggling with basics. The reason being, coaching classes and classroom sessions go at pace that can’t be paused to illustrate each one’s doubt. Rather students many a times don’t understand a small concept, and that is enough to slip them out of the track for the rest of the academic session. All they need is just additional supplementary time-to-time doubt solving sessions, allowing them to connect the jigsaw puzzle pieces piled up in their heads.
The other side of the coin represents engineering/science graduating/post-graduating students from premium institutes who have worked hard through the first face of the coin and somehow managed to get into the second face. They have knowledge, the exact cutting edge tricks to crack down contemporary competitive exams. All they need is a small pocket money, and they will be devoted to mentor a high school student.
Being full time professionals in teaching and academic content developers, what we (administrators of TeachMeBuddy) do is that we train these budding tutors, to be the “buddy” tutors for one-to-one teaching. Not just limiting to high school, but we provide services for graduating and post-graduating students as well, such as for subject M3. We not only provide content, but we can explain the content or the study material the student has, to resolve even specific doubts students get even in solved examples.
To sum-up the concept, we’ll draw parallel to the fact that whenever any student faces a difficulty, the first step he or she does is to ask his or her classmate/friend. We wish to be that friend or “buddy”. Approachable and customizable to students need but still being professional and technically sound at the back end.
